This policy explains how Acadient Private Limited (“Acadient”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this page (acad-phdnursing.pages.dev) and its enquiry and eligibility forms. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us in the forms:

name, phone / WhatsApp number and email address;
your current stage and timeline, preferred contact method, NET / JRF status, whether you are working, highest qualification and the specialization you are interested in.

Information collected automatically when you use this page:

your IP address, browser language and screen size;
the page or advert that brought you here (referrer and campaign / UTM tags);
how you use the page — for example which sections you view, how far you scroll, which buttons you click, and which form fields you use. We do not record what you type into a field until you submit the form;
a random visitor ID stored in your browser so we can tell repeat visits apart.

2. Why we use it

to contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry and eligibility;
to check your profile against university entry requirements and suggest suitable programmes;
to help you apply to the university you choose, only with your consent;
to understand how the page is used and to improve it and our advertising;
to prevent spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 7).

3. Who we share it with

Universities — only the university (or universities) you choose to apply to, and only after you agree.
Service providers who help us run this page, such as our web hosting, email and messaging providers. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.
Authorities, if the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4. Cookies, browser storage and advertising

This page stores a small random visitor ID and the campaign tags of your visit in your browser’s storage. We advertise through Google Ads; Google may use cookies to show you our adverts and measure their performance, under Google’s advertising policies. You can manage personalised ads at Google Ad Settings, and clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to help you with your enquiry and application, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Page-usage records are kept for up to 12 months. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

6. How we protect it

Your information is sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection and stored on access-controlled servers. Only authorised Acadient staff can see it. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you;
correct or update it;
delete it, or stop contacting you;
withdraw your consent.

Email hello@acadient.in with the subject “Privacy request”. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

This page is meant for nursing professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
